"The Birth of a Club" 

​

The PWHS Fishing Club started a few years back when some interested students in the outdoors and fishing started talking to Foreign Language teacher, Mr. Spock. Eventually through the same interest and love of the sport, development of the first established Fishing Club in Pueblo and the surrounding regions came forth. Through the past few years, the club has exponentially expanded, going from 3-4, to almost 25 registered members. Members are affiliated with the SAF through the partnership of the TBF and FLW, meaning that they get to participate in tournaments that are going on nationwide! In fact in 2011, two students teamed up and won the New Mexico-Colorado State Tournament!

 

 

         And now, more recently, as of April 2014, the Cyclone Anglers have teamed up with the B.A.S.S. for even more excitement with new oppurtinutes of awards, prizes, and new tournament offerings!
